The SAP B1 SEVT table that stores events via b1if, started to delete all data automatically, and I have no idea how this happened, it receives the event, it appears in the database, and after a few seconds it disappears from the database, has anyone seen this?

Hi LuisGuilherme

There was may be some issue before, As if event sender is working fine it should automatically disappear 10 records every 3 second. If records are not moving from SEVT then there must be some issue.

The table "SEVT" contains the log of all steps or changes made within the SAP Business One, that is, each time you update a record either a document definitions, master data or user tables in this table creates a log of that change, but just who did it, when he did as object code or registration was made.

Content of the SEVT table can be truncated if you are not requiring to have the generated B1 events handled(If the integration framework is not using any scenarios, then we can completely deactivate the events creation in the B1 environment). We always recommend to create a backup On SBOCOMMON database before executing the deletion task.

If the SEVT table is having many entries, then it’s indicating as the Event Sender Configuration is not correct. Once the integration framework is installed, it enables the event collection via the table SEVT, and if those are not handled correctly by EventSender, then this is leading to the reported issue (huge records in SEVT table). If the EventSender is stopped, then it would not solve anything, the event will be generated.

Please configure the EventSender properly. If you will encounter some issue, please refer to the SAP note 1882000 as well.

Kind Regards
