Dear friends,
My strategy is make to stock production. I have run MRP in MD02. Through MRP i have created my production order. So system automatically created settlement rule for my order as " Category :MAT (Material) and settlement type as "FUL". (Full settlement) . These two fields are frozen by default and i can not change. Is it possible to change the settlelement type as PER (periodic settlement) instead of "FUL" for category "MAT".
Please guide me
Thanks

Hi,
Good evening and greetings,
In the transaction KOT2, the Order Type is assigned to a Category and that contains the Settlement Profile. Based on that profile, the settlement to MAT and FUL are defaulted. If it is made to order scenario, then the order type should be PP01 and it is attached to category 10 and in the case of made to stock scenario the order type is RM01 and it is attached to 5 which is Product Cost Collectors.
As per Standard SAP, the order type for Repetitive Manufacturing (Made to Stock) should be RM01 and it is settled to MAT (which is the material). In the case of Discrete Manufacturing (Made to Order) should be PP01 and it is settled to ORD (which is the order and the order is attached to material).
Please reward points if found useful
Thanking you
With kindest regards
