Settlement in material Ledger

Hi ,

I just wanted to know that "Settling the material in material ledger through transaction CKMLCP is one of option not only the option ".Is this statement right can we settle price in ML even without using t-code CKMLCP. if yes than please clarify how can we do it .

If you want the material revaluated with actual , it is mandatory, other wise it is optional.
