Service order cancellation in CS module

Dear all,

How to cancel a  Service order (created using -IW31).I have tried the following

1.first select technically completed( Do not execute)

2.Set deletion flag.

And also how to reverse the cancelled service order.Is it any option as similar like in sales order  'Reason for rejection'.

If Service Order is not Released & its in CRTD status:

  • You have the option of selecting Do Not Execute, which will close the order permanently & sets the status to CLSD. After that, you can set deletion flag for that Service order. Deletion flag can be reset at the later stage. But "Do Not Execute" option can't be reversed back to CRTD status.

If Service Order is Released & No cost is booked:

  • Click on TECO flag & "Complete Business" button to close the order. Then you can set the deletion flag for the order. All these TECO, Complete Business, Deletion flag can be reversed back to previous statuses.

If Service Order is Released & Some costs are booked:

  • Reverse all the entries which booked cost against that Service Order & follow the same steps of "If Service Order is released & No cost is booked". Here, apart from getting back the cost to service order, all other business transactions viz., TECO, Complete Business & Deletion flag can be reversed back to previous statuses.

I have created Service order from Notification, but now i want to set delete flag or complete the service order.I didnt create any sales order/ any other transcation from that service order.

Open Service order in edit mode (IW32) and follow below path to set deletion flag:

Order--> Functions-->Deletion Flag-->Set.

Save the order. Order system status will change to DLFL.

Pre-requisite: Order should be closed and have status CLSD

To set the deletion flag the order must be closed (CLSD)

Hi Mahesh,

You want to reset Deletion flag for service order ?

If so in the second screenshot of yours, you can find option for RESET of deletion flag

then you can cancel technical complete, to make service order editable
