Service Layer without cookies

Hello,

is it possible to somehow use Service Layer without authentication via cookies? Is there any other auth method? The reason I am asking is because appgyver (no code platform recently acquired by SAP) is currently not sending cookies from their apps.

Hi Ondrej,

Could Basic Authentication be an option?

You can directly send requests to Service Layer using Basic Authentication without previously login to SL and therefore cookies are not required.

You need to put the CompanyDB and UserName in json format as the user.

Hope it helps,
Trinidad.

Hi Trinidad,

yes, this will help, thank You. Except when we are trying to get data from exposed SQL views, because we always get 502 Proxy Error. It is reported in Incident number 698996 / 2021.

Hi

Without Cookies you can not authenticate as per SAP service layer documents.

Thanks

Hi, I am aware of what the documentation says. I am hoping there could be some kind of workaround possible.
