Service contracts and service organization in S4HANA

Hi,

I want to process the following scenario:

1. I want to create service contract in S4HANA with products that the client can buy within the contract. For example spare parts or services with discounted price.
2. I want to create service quotation in which I can add products from service contract. The contract will be assigned to the item, so the price in quotation will be recalculated.

My problem is:

1) On the contract I have to indicate Service Organization. I want to have multiple service organizations in which the contract is valid. So is it required for Service Organization to be mandatory on the Contract? Now, the contract is saved with errors if there is no SO.

2) In In-House Repair process, field Service Organization is not available on Repair Quotation. Therefore only contracts with SO empty are proposed.

3) In On-Site Service process, field Service Organization is required on Service Quotation to be able to propose contract. Therefore contracts with empty SO are not proposed.

So how to manage Sales Organizations in case I want to have both processes with Repair Q and Service Q?

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" and included the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Service" for this question, as Services Contracts are related to Service Line of Business.

Settings for Service Organizations:

SPRO > Service > Master Data > Organizational Management > Organizational Data Determination > Change Rules and Profiles > Change Rules and Profiles

• REPA2001 is a profile for Repair Order
• 000000000008 is a profile for Service Order
• 000000000023 is a profile for contract

You can uncheck Service Org as mandatory
