Send Email to update Calendar in MSS->Team Birthdays and Anniversaries

Hi Experts,

Under MSS->Team Birthdays and Anniversaries there is a send email to update Calendar. My understanding is when the manager clicks on this link his outlook calendar will be getting updated with the B'day and Anniversaries of his team members. Currently when I click the link while logging in as a manager nothing happens. I did a bit of search and it seems the configuartion is under SPRO->Personel Management ->MSS WDA->Settings for Calendar update->Enhancements for Calendar entries and this functioanlity uses the Badi HRMSS_CALENDAR_ENTRY.

If we want just the standard functionality do we need to do any configurations on SPRO and create a badi implementation ?.

Since nothing happens when I click the link on the portal I tried creating a badi implentation ZHR_MSS_CALENDAR having implementation class CL_MSS_CALENDAR_CFG. I am not very sure if at all it is required to create a custom badi implementation as I just want the standard functionality to work. Please advice.

Hi,

i don't think this application uses it0105 for emails. Try maintaining user master email address in SU01 and see if it works.
