Hi,
I have a small doubt during selection of Routing ducting Planning.
It is possible to select different routings when u create a production order (manually or converting planned order to production order) but is it possible to select different routings group counters for the same group while creating planned order or while running mrp or after running the MRP is it possible to change the group counter for the planned order.
please help solving this doubt.

Hi Pavan,
The routing is selected automatically while runinng the MRP & the production order based on the lot size of the order , Production version & the status of the routing as long as system is able to select an unique routing based on the criteria..... in case there is an overlap then SAP prompts the user to select in manually the production version.......
we cannot change the grp counter in the order as per best of my knowledge onnce the production order is created......
I hope that it will clear your doubt.......
Please reward point if helpful.....
Thanks

If you have your different groups / group counters assigned to production versions, you can change the production version on the header of the planned order. If needed to change a bunch of planned orders after they are created, you can use MD16 to get a list and hit the change icon.
If you have a production order already you can Reread master data (it's one of the menu options) and it will let you select the routing or PV to use.
What are you trying to accomplish by using different routings? There may be another way to solve the problem.
