Search string in electronic bank statement with /

Dear all,

I'm really confused. Within an electronic bank statement I would like to find the expression 13140/2014 . I think the "Slash" kind of destroying a good result, but I don't know how to solve it.

At the moment my search string is customized as   #####(\/2014)  . If I test in the Customizing transaction everything seems to look fine:

Hit               Map

13140/2014  13140/2014

But if I use transaction FEBSTS to test the system finds the string 13140/2014 , but maps to 13140   (without /2014).

What is wrong? Can anybody help me?

Kind Regards

Philip

Any idea regarding my specific problem. I don't see any information about how to map a slash "/" into my number.

To be more precise about my issue.

In field XBLNR within the document the string "13140/2014" has to be found.

With my search string "#####(\/2014)" the system would find "13140" but not "13140/2014".

How do I have to change the search string to match "13140/2014" ?

Thank you for any helpful response.

Best Regards

Philip

Hi

You can use "/" as a wild character. Set it up as:

?-> 0

In such a case, EBS should find the string "/"

Thanks & regards

Unfortunately that does not work...

If I put in

? -> 0   --->   I got 1314002014

? ->     --->  I got 131402014

?  -> /    ---> I got 13140
