Hi,
I am aware of the schemas used in US payroll like U000, UIN0 etc. But not yet worked on customisation of schema..how do we do it ?..Is that the work to be done by functional consultant.
Kindly provide with a scenario in which we do customise a payroll schema.
Thankyou
Renuka.

Hi,
A customised schema may contain a customised rule, function or an operation. Suppose you have prepared custom loan types and you want to get values of repayment installment, loan balance of these loans in the wagetypes that u've defined.
In this case you need to modify the rule related to loan processing and then attach the customized rule to the scehma. For attaching rule to a schema, you can attach the custom rule to standard schema but this is not followed. Initially standard schema is copied into a z schema and then custom rule is attached to it.
In most of the cases functional person is responsible for making these changes.
Hope u 've got an idea.

Tomesh

Hi Renuka,
SAP has given standard schemas for ciuntries and these schemas are used to map the custom specific requirement.. We can copy the SAP Standard schemas and edit them according to our requirement..
If there is requirement like you want to process overtime differently than you will use MODIF .
