Schedule lines per hour

Hi Everyone,

I'm working with SA as source of supply. When the MRP runs, a Schedule line is created and it is sent to the vendor. The Schedule lines are divided by days; however, we want to create Schedule lines per hour.  In 1 day, we want to have different schedule lines divided by hour or a period of hours.

How can we do that? What master data or configuration we have to change in order to have this behavior?

Thanks,

Iván

Hi,

In ME38 you create the schedule lines by hand. We want the schedule lines have been created automaticaly by MRP. How can we do this?

Thanks,

Iván

in MRP MD03 run you can select the control parameter delivery schedules.

in source list determination via ME01, set MRP as 2 so that delivery schedule lines are set automatically.

Hi Raymar,

We did it. The schedule lines are creater for one day, but they are not divided by hours.

Good to know that you can now generate the Delivery Schedules as per MRP.

On your next question in handling the per hour, i strongly suggest that you just ask the user manually update the time manually via ME38.

But if you are in a discrete industry such as an automotive, this will require the assistance of your PP resource with knowledge of KANBAN JIT. This will require the planning horizons to be managed on a per hour basis.

Hi Raymar,

What do we have to configure in order to have KANBAN JIT? Do you have any documentation? I'm new with this scenario.

Thanks,
Iván
