SAP Service Layer Missing Many Columns

The SAP Service Layer seems to be missing a large amount of fields, rendering it difficult to use as a replacement for the DI API.

For example; just some of the following are missing from Document Lines:

- All Target Document info (TrgetEntry, TargeType)

-  Some Base Document info (BaseRef, BaseAtCard, BaseCard)

But from what I have seen, every entity is missing a decent amount of fields available.

Is there a reason for this limitation? Is the only way to work with this to just use SQLQuery?

Hi connerpanarella,

Can you confirm whether these fields are missing in Service Layer only or those are missing in DI API as well?

Kind regards,

Hey @ANKIT_CHAUHAN, after reviewing these are not available in the DI API either. Not sure why these fields are not available, it makes it challenging to fully utilize the DI API or Service Layer.

Hi connerpanarella,

Not all the fields are guaranteed to be accessible in the DI API or Service Layer.

You have the option to create a DRQ within the SAP Business One Customer Influence site for the fields that you believe are necessary.
