SAP S/4HANA Service Management

Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

I am trying to understand the SAP solution for Service Management in S/4HANA, which corresponds to the Customer Service (CS) module we had in ECC. I find it challenging to grasp the exact solution and the differences between the On-premise, Public Cloud, and Private Cloud offerings for S/4HANA Service Management.

In the ECC CS module, we had the following processes:

  1. Return and Repair
  2. On-site and In-house Repair
  3. External Processing
  4. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
  5. Contract Management
  6. Warranty Service Process

    Previously, we used an On-premise solution, which was straightforward. Now, with the various offerings—On-premise, Public Cloud, and Private Cloud—each presents different features.

    Is there a resource or document that clearly outlines the different apps and processes available in each of these three offerings?
