I have created one query and 1 infoset, assigned it to one user gooup

I have below question:

1. I could not understand the use of user group because I could make changes other queries even my user ID is not assigned to that user groups.

2. I want to give authorization to 5 user in that 2 must have change authorization and 3 can only execute that report.

let me know how can I map this requirement.

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

1) probably you have an authorization profile which allows editing queries without restrictions;

2) run transaction SQ03:

- in the field "User group" type-in the user group assigned to the infoset you have created;

- press the push-button "Assign users and Infosets";

- a table will show up, where you can type-in the users to be assigned to the query, that's to say the user which will be able to run the query; next each user name a flag is available: if you remove the flag, that user will be able to run the query, but not to change it;

You can control user's authorizations to change queries with authorization object S_QUERY.

Hope to be useful.
