hi,

Testing is done because a large complex of infrastructure of software and Hardware involved.

Before we go for testing we will create a solid test plans.

Eg: functional testing is done to test using functional use cases that is a set of conditions or variables under which the testing people will determine a certain businesss process works or not.

We use different software during testing. Most commonly use are

Test Director: which is used to record requirement, preparing test plan and then recording the progress. We will be incorporating defects that are coming during these testings using different test cases.

Mercury Load Runner: is used for performance testing. This is an automatic tool

Performance testing is refered to as how much time / second will take to perform some actions, like e.g. PGI. If BPP defination says 5 seconds for PGI then it should be 5 and not 6 second. Usually it is done using software Mercury load Runner.

Click define, copy delete, check warehouse number

You can copy Std WHN 001 to your own WHN so that the all storage types and bin structures get copied automatically.

Assignment

Assign Warehouse numer to plant/Sto. Loc

IMG - LE- Warehouse Management-master data

Define control parameters

Define Storage type

A WHN is divided in to number of Storage Types.

Storage type is defined with stock placement and removal statergies along with controls like SU active, mixed storage..

Define Storage Section

Define Storage BIn

Define Storage Bin Structure

Define different indicators used in a MMR

Defining Statergies

Activate storage type search

Activate storage bin search
