SAP HCM managing Internship

What is the process in SAP HCM to manage interns? Our company cooperates with trade schools accepting trade school students as interns.Such interns are created as employees. We need to indicate which school send this intern

Interns are treated as temp employees, but consider the following: -

1. Segmentations
2. Payroll: If you use a localized payroll like (PY-CN), check if there is a related configuration needed.
3. You can indicate schools by using Contract Type filed for example or any additional field (Can be added by ABAP Consultant).

Thanks for advice. We not using Segmentation nor Payrol, and Contract Type field is used for another purpose. Most likely we use custom field (although for this case search help table would be required, as we will need report later). Currently we looking at creating Qualification for each school and assign that qualifaction for Interns employees. We though of creating custom infotype or using education info type, but there is only text field and I'm reluctant to create Z table to search chelp on schools.
