Dear All,

Can anyone confirm if it is mandatory to configure SAP Cloud (Public) / Grow systems only using the SAP Central Business Configuration?

Is there an alternative way to configure Public Cloud systems without using SAP Central Business Configuration? If yes, please share the details.

Additionally, is there any license requirement or prerequisite for accessing SAP Central Business Configuration?

I have a demo system for SAP Public Cloud. Is SAP Central Business Configuration available for demo systems?

Usage of the Central Business Configuration tool is a prerequisite  for the setup and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition systems. It comes included with the license and access . Please check the learning material Introducing SAP Central Business Configuration for a quick overview to understand the benefits, key features and advantages introduced by this tool.

You can also check the AP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (3-system landscape) for the details and order of the setup steps.

 The system provides access to an environment with the following capabilities:

• A Cloud test, demo, and development for SAP S/4HANA Cloud system with a tenant for customizing and configuration and a tenant for developer extensibility (ABAP environment).
• Access to an SAP Central Business Configuration tenant to activate and manage business configuration for the Cloud test, demo, and development for SAP S/4HANA Cloud SAP S/4HANA Cloud tenants.
• Access to an SAP Cloud ALM tenant to manage the entire landscape.
