Hi All,
In my example there is a Production order (for a Parent Item). During the production of the Parent (Production Order is open) one of the Child items changes cost (ie the Invoice of the later Purchase delivery has been changed).
Is there a way to revaluate the cost of the Production Order (according to the current Child Cost)? (Perpetual Cost with moving average).
Thanks!
Hi,
if you didn't yet consume the Child in this Production order, then the cost will be correct when you create the Issue for Production of that component. Also, when you close the Production order (assuming that the Parent is still on stock) system will reevaluate the Parent and include all the costs in its actual production cost, and not only take the calculated cost from the Bill of Material.

Matija

Thanks a lot Matija.
So that means that SAP Business One cannot do Production Order (father) revaluation if the Child cost have changed after 'production issue' in any case?

Regarding 'Close the Prod Order'.
That means that if I have consumed in Prod Order (ie nr A1100) the Child 10 Days Ago and at that time the cost was 1 euro and today the cost of the Child is 2 euros and I close today the Prod Order (A1100) the father cost will be revaluated with the new cost of the Child?
(Of course in that scenario father is still on stock).
