SAP B1 10 why items weight and size are mandatory?

On SAP B1 9.x we could create an item and not fill the weight and size.
With SAP B1 10, it looks like it is mandatory.

It is not convenient, so am I missing a configuration specification that would allow us to create an item with empty size and weight? or is it really mandatory?

Hi,

We didn't change the item creation validations in SAP B1 V10 and we didn't expose any new configuration that could affect this area. We only exposed the system settings in the web client without changing the existing system behavior.

Please check maybe a customization was done by the partner.
