sales price not determining in classic variant configuration

Customer has SAPS4HANA premium version. Advanced variant configuration is not part of license. Customer is using ETO scenarios. We are trying to activate basic variant configuration. We are able to create basic configurations, but the price is not getting determined in sales order ( all steps performed are in the attachment)

I have two queries

 1. what are the functionalities of basic variant configuration supported in public cloud ?

2.  Review the configuration steps and guidance for issue resolution?

SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing 

steps;

Variant Configuration in Public cloud.

We are planning to use the Basic variant configuration instead of Advanced variant configuration to simply the material and its pricing.

1. Create characteristics
2. Create Classes
3. Assign Characteristics to Classes
4. Create material with configurable material checkbox
5. Assign the classes in the material
6. Create the configurable profile via T-Code CU41
7. Create the Dependency for variant pricing via T-Code CU01
8. Maintain the material pricing based on the variant
9. Create a sales order and system will display the price based on the variant.

1. Manage Characteristics:

Create the two characteristics COPDIM1 for dimensions and COPVAR1 for variant pricing maintenance

Enter the characteristics value as 10 & 20.

Enter the table name as SDCOM and field name as VKOND.

1. Manage Classes

Create the class and assign the above two characteristics to the class ZZCOP2

1. Create Material

we have created a material under the configurable material type KMAT and assign the class ZZCOP2.

1. Create the configuration profile for the material 28 in CU41

1. Dependency Editor:

We are assign the COPDIM1 value to COPVAR1 characteristics.

1. Maintain the variant prices for the condition type PVA0

After the above configuration, we are trying to create the sales order. Variant pop up si displayed and selected the variants, but the variant condition values is not getting copied in the sales order screen. Because of that, system is not able to fetch the relevant variant prices.

Hi,

If your customer has subscribed to the S/4HANA Cloud, public edition,(with Grow with SAP packages) and has NOT subscribed to the additional licenses for any advanced variant configuration (AVC) related scope items, they will not be able to utilize the corresponding functionality in the Public Cloud solution.

In S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, only AVC is supported, and the classic variant configuration functions (LO-VC) are not supported.
