Sales Order Lead Time Field - can it be more than 99 days?

I have a query about the sales order lead time field (requirement date lead time) in VOV8. Our sales team want a new sales order type with the requirement date pushed out by four months. The current lead time field only allows max of 99 days. Is it possible to increase this field to allow more than 99 days or is this not possible/recommended?

Hi Michelle, the limitation is due to the definition of VLFAUF data element:

I'd not recommend to change or enhance it.

However you can use the solution described in note 2791598 - Set lead time in sales document dependent on sold-to party and develop your own logic to calculate lead time and requested delivery date.
