Sales Order KITs Solution: HOW can have pricing/billing on header but deliverring on item

Dears,

Our company needs to process KITs in sales business. We have created sales BOM, and wish to pricing and invoicing only on header material, but deliver at item level.

I have tested sales item category TAQ for header, TAE for item, but it seems not work - when create F2 invoice, it always check the item level category TAE not for billing....

Could anyone helps here? TAE/TAQ supposed the standard solution for that scenario, right? why it doen's work here?

You have not shared the screen shot of your sales order to see how the Sales BOM exploded with the respective item categories. Yes you are right - for Pricing at Header Level item, the standard item category is TAQ and if this is not working in your case, in two areas, you can check this

• in VOV4, check whether you maintained the required item category group ERLA with TAQ
• in material master Sales Org.2 view, this ERLA is set for that header material

This is also assuming that you set the TAQ as relevant for Pricing and Billing Relevance as A or H and the copy control are in place for this item category
