Hi,
I'm trying to post a Sales Order with reference to a Sales Quantity Contract (CQ) and the system is throwing a warning message stating that the quantity is exceeded. However, my requirement is that the system shows an error message instead when this scenario occurs. How can I proceed?
Best regards

Hello,
This is the standard system behavior for Sales Contracts of type Quantity (CQ). For this type of contract, the 'Contract Release Control' field of the corresponding item categories is set as 'A = Warning if target value is exceeded'.
However, your requirement can be accomplished by using the Sales Contract of type Value (VC01), which has the field 'Contract Release Control' of the corresponding item categories is set as 'B = Error message if target value is exceeded'. If this type of contract also fits your business needs, you can use it instead and then achieve the desired system behavior.
