S/4 Public Cloud CBC:Event-Based Revenue Recognition Usage 302 for Loss Provision

Hi,

I am trying to set up EPPM projects revenue recognition to account for 'Onerours contracts' as per IAS 37. Once a project is planned to be in loss, i.e. planned costs > planned revenue, losses should be recognised upfront.

To try to meet this requirement,  in CBC Activity Maintain Settings for Event-Based Revenue Recognition, ID 102530, I am trying to update the assignment rule EPMCCC, sequence 5 to from 301 to use  usage  302 :Asset clearing account for netting with loss provision.

However, in CBC there does not appear to be a way to change the usage for a sequence. I can only change the accounts.  Sequence 5 seems to have the correct accounts used, 21722000, manual reserves for imminent loss and 54442000, Man Adj of Reserves for Imminent Loss. I want to change the usage from 301 to 302.  

Why is  sequence 5 set up with 301 instead of 302? Is there a way to change it?

Currently, in standard support is  provided for manual loss handling for EPPM projects, as indicated by usage 301. This allows you to manually record the imminent loss reserves for the onerous projects, using the maintained accounts in the SSCUI. You can enter your imminent loss reserves manually via the feature Manual Accruals in the app Event-Based Revenue Recognition - Projects. 

In the upcoming releases, we plan to introduce an automatic imminent loss handling process for EPPM projects. This future enhancement will provide an automatic calculation and posting of imminent loss reserves for EPPM projects using the cost-based POC method and revenue-based POC method. The underlying usage for this is usage 300.
