S/4 Hana Cloud with Manage Your Solution to SAP Central Business Configuration

Hello community,

Our client was one of the last to migrate to S / 4 Hana Cloud and is still with the "Manage your Solution" application.

Next year we will migrate to SAP Central Business Configuration. We have reviewed the OpenSAP course, but this course focuses on implementation projects from scratch.

I wanted to consult you, or see if there is a post where these doubts are also discussed, the following:

1. In our casuistry, who would migrate the current configuration in Manage Your Solution to SAP CBC? From what we have seen in the course, it would be carried out by SAP during the first phases.

2. What are CBC tenants? As we understand it, in projects from 0, there are two configuration tenants (Q and P) in which the configuration and tests are carried out before migrating to the S / 4 HC. In our case, would there be only one SAP CBC configuration tenant with auto sync with S / 4 Hana Cloud?

3. After the migration to SAP CBC, will the configuration tenant still be maintained or can it be done directly in S / 4 Hana Cloud?

as general guidance

there is not yet an official when and how the conversion from MYS to CBC will occur for existing customers that SAP can disclose. So we need to wait for availability so that we can clarify steps and execution. But yes, expected that conversions will run as possible as non-events to existing customers. Once available we will have also information available in external communication channels.

as for 2) and 3)

once CBC is available, the configurations will run in CBC and MYS is no longer available. check FAQ under learn more

In principle you should have, as by default, SAP S/4HANA Cloud customers are eligible to use the SAP Enterprise Support Edition
