Hi Gurus,
My client business process is like this,
after production last operation ,colouring will happen for steel pipe.
in routing ,i have mainted activity types , right now all the things ok.
some times when operator doing coating (colouring ),due to some problem again he have to do colouring may be two times or three times.
but we cannot change always base quantity ,because when we have to do colouring two times or three times we dont know,bcz if color is not done properly again we have to do.
how can i do this scnario.

Let me know how are you doing the production planning? Is your system make to order or make to stock? Please explain your process in detail.
By the way as I understand after finishing your last operation you are coloring or coating the pipes means the production is not yet over. Please add these two activities in your routing & till you finishes coating & coloring keep the operations defined for coloring & coating as partially confirmed because u never know when those will be the over. In this way u would be able to capture the actual cost of operation.
After finishing your operations you can confirm your coloring & coating operations. Let me know if any query.
