Route determination - Does SAP redetermine the route in sales order?

Hi,

There is a sales order in which route is determined. However, if I remove the route value and change the plant value, system does not redetermine the route?

In the standard SAP system does not redetermine the route once you make the value blank?

Hello,

Please note that ROUTE is determined by "Depature Zone Destination zoneShipping conditions+Transportation group". So when

the plant is changed, the value of these above parameters are affected accordingly. Try to create Out bound delivery and

check whether you are able to create it or not. If you are unable to create Out bound delivery then Route determination is not

happening at Sales order. One more thing please check the weight group and its relevance to route combination.

There is no relevance of weight group.

My point is - even if I remove the route value and plant value in sales order, and then put the same plant value, system doesnt determine the route again.
