Risk of using 262mvt instead of 101 mvt

Can any one explain the risk of using 262mvt instead of 101mvt of mm module in a manufacturing process?

Hello

Movement 262 is a cancellation movement and it should never be used for goods receipt. It may lead to an inconsistent cost calculation for your order and problems in the product cost calculation.

Thanks caetano for your answer. But will it still effect my costing if 262 mvt is Passed only for semi finished goods during Production? The semi finished goods are further consumed during the production process..

Hi Vinay

If you want to control the semi-finished during your production process, one alternative is to use the WIP batch concept.

Otherwise, you can post the goods receipt with as a by-product, using 531 movement.
