Reverse Accrual/Deferral Journal Entry

Hello,

in the release 1808, the title "Reverse Accrual/Deferral Journal Entry" is not available anymore.

As i understand, now we have to manage Accrual/deferral like a classical journal entry with journal entry type "AD" (Accruals/Deferrals)

But what about the massive automatic reversal? is there a dedicated app ?

Hi,

You can use use AD entries to create accrual postings in the Post General Journal Entries.

There is no dedicated app for AD reversals, but you may use use the mass reverse function in the Manage Journal Entries apps by searching for AD entries and reversing all relevant accrual postings.

So we've lost the ability to specify a reversal date and have the system enforce it.
