returnable packaging

Hello Experts,

We have recently implemented SAP Returnable Packaging process at our client.

Previously business was maintaining the stock of returnable pallets manually on Excel, but as now we have implemented the process in SAP, user wants to upload or update the existing stock of pallet at customer ends which can seen in MB58 report.

As far as i know, we cannot carry out movement of pallet by movement type 621 in outbound delivery manually.

could you please guide me, how i can update the stock at customer end in MB58 report.

If you want to upload the returnable pacakging at the customer, you can post a 561 movement type, special stock V.

Depending on your SAP installation, a mass upload can be executed through LSMW or through the S/4HANA migration cockpit. Manual upload can be executed through transaction MIGO, Goods Receipt, Other.

Then, you should be able to display your stock with MB58.

Pay attention to the value side of your postings. If the material is valuated, your movement will pick the price from the material master, unless you enter a value ... This has to be reviewed with Finance/Controlling.

Of course, before you maintain your returnable packaging in special stock V, you have to make sure you can ship, pick-up and issue it.
