restrict raw material issue when conformation

anybody suggest me how to restric the raw material issue when the conformation, as per the bom either low or high.

Hi,

You can use MBCF0005 Material document item for goods receipt/issue slip user exit with your requirement. To implement further you have to get the help of tech nical consultants.

also you can try the following user exits (all are from MIGO)

MBCF0002 Customer function exit: Segment text in material doc. item

MBCF0007 Customer function exit: Updating a reservation

MBCF0010 Customer exit: Create reservation BAPI_RESERVATION_CREATE1

MB_CF001 Customer Function Exit in the Case of Updating a Mat. Doc.

I have implemented the same requirement for my client.Tell your ABAPer to implement user exit 'CONFPI02'.Table used is 'RESB'

Hi Bhakta,

Before doing confirmation(COR6n),you must be doing goods issue by MB1A/MIGO.

If you use this user exit

1)System will not allow process order confirmation if all the inputs(RM/PM issue) is not completed .

2. System will check for issue of all Material codes as per Product receipe but the quantity issued will not be the criteria for control as the quantity could vary from batch to batch .

3. System will allow Partial confirmation incase of incomplete issue to process order .

4. System will give error message of material issues to be completed during confirmation for incomplete process orders and not allow confirmation transaction.Means If you have components A,B,C in BOM &if you have not posted goods issue to either A,B, or C,system will give error message&will not allow confirmation.

If you require ,I will send snap shot of user exit which will be useful to your ABAPer.

please send snap shot to my mail id bvatsalam123@yahoo.co.in, and an information, actually my client required in rm/pm are issued as per the bom but when the conformation if consumed less are more system should give error message. is it possible and it should wor only rm/pm not for semi finished. i am waiting for your reply

Hi Bhakta,

I am sending screen shots to your ID which will be helpful to your ABAPer.Your requirement can be met if you maintaion internal material no. for different material types(i.e. RM start with 1....,PM with 2.........,Halb with 3......... etc.Discuss with your ABAPer.

i am using for conformation of process order by using cor6n. at the time of conformation i want to restrict the conformation of material usage as per bom defined not less not more. please give me idea.

Hi Bhakta,

I think your requirement you want to issue the child material quantity exactly as per BOM.

This can be achieved by using user exits when issuing the material.
