Responsible Cost Center and Profit Center in a Maintenance Order

I would like to know what's the real influence that responsible cost center and profit center located in the

"add. data" tab in maintenance order has when I confirm a labor (through the IW41) and settlement an maintenance order.

I did this question, because the accounting document of confirmation labor, is credit in the responsible cost center of maintenance order and debit in the cost center of work center who had their labor confirmed.

Why this happens? Is this right?

When you perform a confirmation (IW41) the cost centre assigned to the work centre is credited, and the order debited.

This work centre cost centre may be the same cost centre as the responsible cost centre in the order...

They can be used as a basis for order settlement rules.

Hi,

Once your confirming the work duration using Tcode IW41 the Actual Cost will be credit in Cost center which is assigned to a work center.

once you confirm the actual hours ,the actual cost from the order (labour cost) will be credited to the performing work centre ,and the same will be debited during payment to the employee
