Hi,
There is a TO where the requirement number is 'D -Storage bin' and a numeric given. I understand that this requirement is the source of TO. I have worked with TO with reference to Orders.
But here what does this mean. The movement type is 711 - Differences Negative.
To which document does this refer to?
In which tcode can I see the reference document?
Regards
Aleakhine.
Hi,
You are right - This requirement is the source of TO. But it does not refer to any document.
It is a result of differences at that bin due to Physical inventory or differences at the time of TO Confirmations. Later a Material document will be created to reflect these WM differences in IM using LI21.

But the problem is that there is no reference to a material document or a TR or a delivery. this is an old TO and we are not able to trace what happened.
All that is given is requirement - D Storage bin reference - 2017214. I presume this is only a temperory storage bin, it referes to some document and we are not able to trace what it is.
This is an old document and therefore, material document would have been created long back if any.
Hi,
It is a result of differences at that bin due to Physical inventory or differences at the time of TO Confirmations
Case 1:
If it is due to Physical inventory, 2017214 is a Physical inventory document.
Case 2:
If it is due to differences at the time of TO Confirmations, Check the difference indicator for your warehouse in OMLX.
Case 2A:
If it is "Stock difference", 2017214 is TO
Case 2B:
If it is "Source storage bin", It is difficult to trace.
It can be Case 1 or Case 2A Case 2B.
If it is Case 2B, You have to check possible sources of differences at the time of TO Confirmations.
If it is GR for PO, 2017214 is a PO#
If it is GI to cost center, 2017214 is a Cost center#
etc....
