Dear Siddique Shaikh,

All XLR related questions belong to report forum.

For your issue, if only one client has this problem, you need do a clean reinstall of the client. What is your B1 version and PL?

Thanks,

Hi,

I am receiving this exact message on one workstation. It is 8.81 PL00.

The OS is XP SP3. XL Reporter works fine on a Windows 7 machine.

Please advise how to fix.

I have cleanly unistalled and reinstalled several times.

Cheers,

Mark

The clean reinstall may never need multiple times. If the second time failed, it is probably more difficult to clean up. How many clients have this issue?

Hi Mark,

did you find a solution to this issue in the meantime? Loads of partners and customers have approached me on this issue since they upgraded to 8.8/8.81 on XP Clients and many different approaches have been tested (from manually registering the DI, ensure that only one network is on the machine with the lic server, reinstalling the client, setting the addon-start to manual or mandatory instead of automatic) but there are still cases where neither of the above solved the issue. Could you please let me if you solved the issue in your case, and how?

Thanks,

Sonja
