Request Transport Problem

Dear ,

I am facing the problem when i am trying send a request from one systems to another system , the error which comes while relasing the request is

" TRANSPORT PROGRAM TP COULD NOT BE STARTED "

i have sap 4.7 on sunsolaries can any body tell what would be the problem.

First mention where you are getting this error and when you are getting.

Check transport log for the transport that gave error.

The problem comes when i try to transport the request by using the transcation code STMS , i had seen the transport logs it shows the error as the

"Transport program tp could not be started " " RFC connection fail "

Hi,

Just Make Sure that your Transport program(STMS) configure properly and you can check RFC connection via SM59

I had checked both the thing i.e STMS and RFC both of that working fine.

I had configured STMS to times, still same problem

HI Anil

Just go to STMSOverviewSystem--double click on system

1.Check tp configration is active or not.

2 click on transport tool and check transdir is set or not.

3.Also check your tranport route is confiured properly

Dear ,

Also i have checked the tablspace by using transcation code DB02 and some of my table shows 96% and 99% , is the problem because of that.

Also while using the tcode :- stms after that i click on import after that i go to import que menu where i click on check in that i click on transport tool where i get the error as

" RFC error : /not enough space (fork) in rfc ping tab also in TP call tab , when i checked the slog there it gave the error as session terminated:

Exact error which i recive in dilaog box is as follows

" TRANSPORT CONTROL TP COULD NOT BE STARTED "

"RFC ERROR : /NOT ENOUGH SPACE (FORK)"

HI Anil

Probably it could be a reason for that. What is your Database? Try to increase the Table Space first after that you can check that you Tp program is running or not
