Request for Guidance on Transferring Assets to New Company Codes

Hi Team,

We're operating in an SAP S/4HANA public cloud environment and have recently created two new company codes.

We need guidance on how to transfer existing assets from the existing company codes to these newly created company codes. A step-by-step process would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Usually a company merge or split scenario is real project which demands diligent preparation and execution. Please note that you need to consider legislation as well to do it in a proper way. Therefore we cannot provide any official advice.

In your scenario to merge company codes we offer basically two tools:

• App "Post Asset Transfer"
• App "Create Legacy Asset" and app "Post Asset Legacy Transfer" - for mass handling the DMC can be used.
