Dear Sravan,

1) For the Materials which need to be processed in Dicreate you need to maintain all related Config settings

Like order types, order type dependentent parameters, AV check parameters, confirmation parameters etc

2) For the Materials which need to be processed in REM , u need to make an REM profile & attach the same to

ur REM materials in MRP - 4 view & need to all related data

Plz refer this link

Dear Sravan,

In my understanding i dont think there can be such a case where a product will be produced sometimes via planned order

concept and sometimes via production order concept.

It can be a transfer from either from discrete to REM scenario or else vice versa.(FYI for a discrete related material - work

sceheduling view is mandatory and where as it's not required for a REM profile assigned material(in normal cases).

Normally a planned order with order type PE are non convertable into production order.

Please check and revert.
