Rental Contract/Periodic Billing/Billing Plan

Hi,

We have the requirement,where in the rental contract ,we have to capture the pro ration value of the initial period (e.g if the billing plan is monthly,and the contract start date is Jan 27,then pro rata for 27-31 )and then the regular billing plans based on the billing plan selection.

What is stopping us, this we can do through the date rule for the end of the contract period,but not for the initial period.

Any pointer please.
