Remove Approval Alert

Hello,

I'd like to know if there is a way to avoid the sending of an alert each time a document needs approval.

My users have a lots of approval, and they use the reports, not the message. they approve once a week/a month.

They received too many alerts thru the Messages/alert Overview so they disable it (it not show up every time there is an alert).

Moreover, sometimes there are other alerts and they don't see it either because it's in the middle of all of the other alerts, or just because it's disabled.

So just want to know if there is somewhere an option to tell SBO not to send alert for approval

I looked without success.

Hi,

Welcome you post on the forum.

Unfortunately there is no such option. If your users approve once a week/a month but have a lots of approval, they have to go through them one by one through report. Remember to remove the inbox immediately after approval.

Hi,

Your problem is not to disable the approval right? you may choose Inactive so that approval will no longer be use.

As for the user you may remove the specific user so he/she cant receive anymore.

If it is a query approval you might change your query or remove it.
