Remitance Challan

hi gurus

when we prepare the remitance challan we fill the all fields but one error is came i.e

Number Group not maintained for company code xxxx Section IEQxxxx and Business place 194C.

and one more doubt

in the TC J1INCHLN here i want change one mandatary field to optional. how to change plz help me..........

Hi ,

For maintaining the number ranges you may proceed as follows :

SPRO - Financial accounting new - financial accounting global settings new - witholding tax - extended wh tax - posting - india - remmitance challan .

Under this node you will find the relevant nodes for maintaining the number ranges .

Secondly the fields are SAP standard one so it is not recommended to change the filed status of the screen .
