Release strategies

Hi,

in a release procedure, after the creation of characteristics and classes in a development and quality client, is possible to transport the CR related to the release strategy from the development to quality client or is better create the release strategies manually ?

Hi

You can tranport all the relase strategies to the QA & PROD clients. But maintain the values of the RS in the System itself using CL24N.

In this way you can ensure that all the RS will work appropriately.

Hii,

You cannot transport the characteristics and class from the dev to QA.

You have to manually create the class & Characteristics in the QA Client.

Only the release group with class (naming) will be copied in the Transport request.

Hi,

Class and characteristics have to defined in each client independently.They are not transportable. We have to do it manually in each client.
