Release Procedure for PO

Dear Experts ,

I want all the Pos created with document type NB for a plant 4100 to be

1. created by the purchase clerk

2.then released by purchase officer

3. Finally released by purchase manager

For this i created characteristic

then created a class (type 032) & assigned this characteristic to it .

created a release group z1

created 2 release code 00 & 01 with group z1.

created a release indicator C , with released tick box .

then defined a release strategy ST with rel grp z1& assigned release code 00 & 01 to it .

what do i do now ?

the release strategy is not working

no release tab is shown in pos

pls guide

Hello

Whats the charcateristic you have used, in the charcteristic Additional data tab you need to maintain table CEKKO and the field name which you have used for determining the release startegy say WERKS - Plant 4100 in your case. You need to maintain these then only sytem will determine your release strategy

Hi Anis,

If you would like to control by PO Value, then you shuold assign CEKKO (table) and GNETW (field) and then in value you should assign >=100. Kindly check it.

Hi Anis,

you can also check T-code CL20N for assigement.Enter Class Type & your release group.

if not then please mainatined it.

Hello PKY,

Thanks its working now .

Now i have created another characteristic for PO value (>100 INR)

I assigned the characteristic to the same existing class .

My requirement is that if the Po is of > 100 INR AND of plant 4100 , release should trigger .

I made a PO of 99 INR for 4100 plant , but still the release is getting triggered.

What changes do i carry out ??

Hi ,

Please check two given below Points.

While define Characteristic in value tab maintain value > 100 rs.

Check same thing in Release strategay - >

Classification view - maintain tyhe value = > 100 rs.

& plant = 4100.

it will helpful for you.
