Regarding OLIX copying keyfigures between info structure

Hi,

I am using OLIX to copy keyfigures between Infostructures.

But key figures are adding in the target version instead replacing the existing values in target version.

i.e if a key figure have qty 20 initially in target version, now we are copying from a source version having 30 value, after the copying key figure is becoming 50 instead of 30 in target version.

can u please any body let meknow is there any standard settings to achieve copying instead of adding?

Hi,

We do not have the single step option to over-write u2018selectu2019 entries in the info-structures through OLIX.

By default, when you use the copy option, the system appends to the existing entries / and hence you observe the new entries in addition to the current ones.

Please follow the sequence in OLIX u2013

a. Use u2018Delete versionu2019 : From the Target version --> Please pass the selection parameters and delete the set of data that you are planning to over-write/replace

b. Use u2018Copy versionu2019 : From Source version to Target version --> Please pass the selection parameters and copy the set of data that you are planning to.

Referring to your example, if you are planning to overwrite the data relevant for a select u2018Plant or Sales Org, or so onu2019 for a select u2018date rangeu2019, as applicableu2026 the above sequence will ensure clearing the current entries (20) and followed by adding the new entries(30). You finally are left with only the fresh data(30) in the target version.

Please check and advise if this addresses your requirement.

Please verify whether the " Reset Target Version" indicator is checked when copying.

Reset target version effects all the key figures in target info structure.I want OLIX to copy only key figures existing in source and target info structure, for this key figures only i want to overwrite the values but do not want any change in the values of other key figures of target info structure.
