Hi All,

while doing lsmw for mm01 how am i to upload the view selection(i.e. basic data 1 ,2 etc )when i give X for the selection of the check boxes (views)indicator i'm getting the error

"Field name 'X' used more than once in f

'C:\Documents and Settings\admin\My

Documents\lsmw\'."

you should use SAP given import methods fro materials, like batch input, IDOC or BAPI.

Recordings should be used in case there is no SAP given import method.

if you still want contiue with recording, then record MMZ1 instead of MM01.

In MMZ1 you have the views with static boxes instead of the dynamic pop-up in MM01.

Hi,

Please note that the fields which are made constand in the step "Field Mapping" need not to be included in the template which you are attaching in the step Specify file.

The fields which are delcared as source must be covered in the template(text file which you are attaching).

Hi

Hope you are doing the BDC recording along with LSMW.

Dont maintain X in the txt file.

In the auto field mapping you maintain the constant value in change mode as X for the views you selected.

It will work fine.
