In the production order header table ( AFKO) i am getting only the alternate BOM number, i am ubable to find which version of alternate BOM is used for Production order.

Thanks .

Hi,

you have to create two Bom with different validity dates in OS32.

In material master in MRP 4 View for bom explosion selection method give as

selection by explosion date.

Create two PIRS in different periods , run MRP and convert it to production orders

and then check.

In the production order header master data tab page itself you can check which

alternative BOM the system has taken.

nandha

in production order header screen master data tab page

bill of material screen you can see all the details of BOM used including explosion date.

Create production version for different BOM's

If you create a production version then you can see the production version details in MD04 itself.

You can fet the details of master data used for production order in AFKO

my suggesion is go for production version.

you can see the production version in AFPO along with explosion date.

Is it answered your question?

hi rajesh.

hw will i relate the production version with the alternate BOM..

i mean how will i relate AFKO or AFPO entries with the STKO, STPO or STAS to find the version of alternate BOM uesd.

my problem is not solved by the alternate BOM found in the table AFKO.

the relation is as below

AFKO-STLNR = STAS-STLNR

AFKO-STLTY = STAS-STLTY

AFKO-STLAL= STAS-STLAL

FROM HERE TAKE ALL

STAS-STLKN AND STAS-STLTY

PASS IT TO STPO

STPO-STLNR = STAS-STLNR

SPO-STLTY = STAS-STLTY

STAS-STLKN-= STPO-STKLN

THIS WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE BOM ITEMS USED IN THAT PROD ORDER.

IS IT OKAY?
