We are changing a setting in SAP so that an ASN IN will decrement the demand that we show the supplier.
The ASN IN may not be processed for many weeks due to it coming from a foreign supplier, but we want to show that we do not need demand for what the ASN will cover when we do receive it into SAP.
Request clarification before answering.
Put simply, no, this is not possible -
The Delivery Date is calculated (and works) based on calculations of the PO based on the actual system / historical data;
ASN (Advance Shipping Notification) is just that - a date proposed currently, but this can / will be subject to change - but is also from unlinked areas to the PO (Deliveries)
The PO fields are set after creation / each processing step, so adding a 'theoretical' value isn't possible here, these are calculated based on criteria external to the POs themselves.
If the requirement is to view retained / ordered / awaiting stock, the suggestion here would be to use the reporting functions for Stock / Deliveries (or adapt / modify them if needed - dates, locations, etc), or, create a bespoke report for the requirement.
Thanks for the question!
