Redo General Journal Entry

We have workflow activated for the app "Verify General Journal Entries", and now we have a lot of items in our inbox with status "Redo General Journal Entry". However, there does not seem to be anything to be "redone" in most cases these items are approved and posted. 

Anyone an idea why these come up other than in the case of a rejection?

And additionally, anyone an idea how to clean up the inboxes?

Hi

Without understanding the current set of the workflow it is hard to give guidance on why there are redo tasks in the inbox

Have you checked the app Workflow Administration to check is the workflow complete

that's the problem. there is nothing to redo. The items are all done, either submitted or rejected. but the inbox is packed with all kinds of entries. How do we remove them? Why do they show up in the first place? There is no action items assigned to them.
