Where we can configure qualification, for applicant.

If you want to create qualifications infotype for applicant, then it is similar to what is done for Personnel numbers. You need to configure IT0024 for applicant actions which is executed to create applicants.(V_T588D).

You should first activate the integration between PA (Personal administration) and PD (Personal development); this activation will change the look & behave of IT0024.

Then you should build your qualification catalog; note that this catalog will be available for both employee & applicant.

After that you can build the qualification profile for each applicant as the same way you did for employee.

Also this catalog will be available for your positions, job, Task.. etc for matchup functionality.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but i found that in pb80 when you go there you will find the position number and from there if you select find candidate, then it is taking to qaulification tab page, now there i am finding Object ID.

So are we going to create this object for qualification or what???

This is What we call it Matchup functionality (Also you can access it through Easy access menu Human Resources -> Personnel Management -> Recruitment -> Selection procedure -> Applicant pool -> Via qualifications ).

But the prerequisite for using this:

1 - First you have to build your qualification catalog (through Human Resources -> Personnel Management -> Personnel Development -> Settings -> Current Settings -> Edit Qualifications Catalog or Transaction code S_AHR_61003929 )

2- then you have to setup the position profile, i.e. what is your requirement of qualification for a specific position, through Human Resources -> Personnel Management -> Personnel Development -> Profile -> Change or TCode PPPM.

Note that you can also setup your Applicant/employee profile in the same transaction or through IT 0024

3- Now you can use the matchup functionality directly or through the transaction PB80

Their is no much of configuration to do in this area; the qualification catalog is a master data and it should take care by the user them selves.
