Reason for Rejection in Material Determination

Hi Experts,

After material determination at the sales order the parent line item & child line item are partially invoiced after that in va02 if we are applying reason for rejection for the parent line item it is not flowing automatically to the child line item.

whether any config changes (or) code changes are neccessary to flow automatically.kindly advice.

I donot think the copying of reason code from parent to child is available in SAP. You need to write the code in a userexit for the same.

Hi Rathesh,

Please note, to apply reason for rejection from Parent Line item to Child Line Item automatically which is not available in standard SAP for Material Determination, hence you'll have to go to user exits as mentioned below, might helpful in your case:-

USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP

Note:- It is possible to copy reason for rejection from Parent Line item to Child Line item only, in case of BOM (Bill of Material).
