quotation position: status has no date

hello,

our sales department wants to analyze their quotation rate within a period of time, based on

- quotation positions (lost and won)

- quotation positions (won)

this will give the rate of won quotation positions. The calculation has to be done a) on number of positions b) on their net value

Our main problem seems to be, that we do not have the status and the corresponding date on position level. SAP seems to copy the
date information from quotation header to positions and we miss the information, what actually has been changed at position level.

Also if, e.g. we create an order based on an offer/quotation, there is no date within quotation tables. It looks that we have to search through order positions and filter out the ones that have a relation to a quotation.

Does anyone have experience with that kind of requirements from their sales/controlling team?

Thanks - Roland

Hi Roland.

The 'won' items should be in the VBFA table. With date, value and quantity. With this, it is quite easy to create a report on this.

The functionality you are looking for, as a whole, can be found in SAP CRM.

Hi Roland,

we had something similar but not in quotations though - but sales orders. orders that were delivered on time and not delivered on time vs delivered on time to get a percentage variance of on time deliveries.

we had trouble getting the correct dates as the orders have different open dates and closing dates which are entered sometimes manually by the users.

we finally had to go for an abap report customized in the way management wanted to see...i dont think there was any standard setup we could do.
